Entry requirements
For entry onto the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification, learners must possess:
An Undergraduate degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
Learners should have some background in management. (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)

English requirements: If any of the course participants are not from English-speaking countries, they should bring proof of their ability to speak and understand English.
Equivalences
OTHM qualifications at Framework (RQF) Level 7 diplomas signify practical skills, potential, and expertise that are compared to the master’s degrees. Although this course is short (120 credits), you need to take at least (60 credits) of courses and get an MBA and Master’s degree equivalent.

There are 6 essential components in The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, totaling up to 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

Assessment and verification
OTHM checks and approves all units used in this qualification internally and externally. This certification refers to a level that is based on the student’s knowledge of all major skills gained during the course.
It is self-evident to course participants that to pass a unit, they must illustrate that the information they have acquired meets all assessment criteria.
Examiners are expected to monitor the audit trail of learners to see how far they have advanced in their overall performance.
