Generic & Transferable Skills

- Take responsibility for a range of activities where overall goals are clear, working under non‑directive supervision.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should meet one of the following criteria:
- Age: 16+
- OTHM does not prescribe specific prior qualifications; centres must ensure that learners have sufficient capability at the right level for learning and assessment.
- Recruitment Integrity: Centres must recruit learners appropriately to ensure the qualification will meet needs, enable achievement and support progression.
- English Language: Learners from non‑majority English‑speaking countries should provide evidence of English proficiency (see OTHM’s English Language Expectations on the official website).
